Delivery Day Tips

Things to Remember for Delivery Day:

  • Print participant order forms from your group leader dashboard under “Downloads.”
  • Attach any online orders to the participant’s order form.
  • Designate a suitable location for order reception and sorting, accessible by a hand truck/pallet jack for efficient unloading.
  • Ensure availability or designate a volunteer to assist our drivers during unloading.
  • Payment is due upon delivery via check payable to Mike’s Candy Stand (bank check preferred).
  • Reminder emails will be sent to fundraising participants the day before and on the delivery day.

7 Steps to Ensure an Efficient Delivery:

  1. Be available 30 minutes before the scheduled delivery time (drivers may arrive early).
  2. Ensure someone is available to sign for the delivery.
  3. Provide specific instructions for the driver’s location. Text or email us with details.
  4. Allow the driver to bring in all items before distribution for double-checking.
  5. Organize volunteers in pairs: one reads the order aloud while the other retrieves it.
  6.  Advise parents that Fannie May Chocolate is best consumed within two weeks. Store away from sunlight and moisture; freeze for longer storage.
  7. No returns after delivery.
